Readings URGENTLY Required

Damiana, 2 February, 2009 at 22:45 Posted on Planning 0

Hi everyone,

what readings are you having for your civil ceremony. I've got to say what ones we want and no idea what ones to choose from.

Plus are disagreeing about music. Does anyone have any reccomendations of versions of classical music that arent too churchy... the OH doesnt like the ones i've suggested as he's heard them lots at church weddings, and we arent christians (but it doesnt bother me) either that or if anyone has a really nice chilled instrumental version, please do let me know

Need these ASAP, as need to get the forms off to the Registry office this week...eek didnt realise that the time had gone so quick

TIA ??

Have u looked at the poems and readings sections under speeches on here?Thats where I found one of our readings (the passionate shepard) and our other reading was 'us two' by AA Milne. Do either of you have a favorite book from childhood you could read an extract from?

As for music maybe try looking for an instrumental version of your favorite modern song on you tube. We used tracks from Moulin Rouge for our music.

    HTH! Good luck!
