really daft question

From what i understand you wear it on your right hand during the ceremony

Oooh, i never thought about that! It'll feel weird taking it off!!

I'll be wearing mine on my right hand then switching it onto the left after the ceremony. Not a daft question at all, i only thought of this because it was in a handy tips thingy from our venue. :-)

I've just been researching and found out that its up to the bride whether she keeps it on her left hand and switches the rings around after the ceremony or switches it to the right hand and then back to left after the ceremony

The tradition has it that the engagement ring is kept on a different finger. The Wedding ring itself shold be worn closest to the hand itself...and the engagement ring after the ceremony can then be worn on the same finger although on the "outside"...the wedding ring is effectively closer to the heart!!!!!

FWIW...any traditional questions wedding related, please do ask me about.......I sadly know most of them and why they came to be!!!!

My engagement ring is slightly too small and VERY difficult to get off.

I'm going to have to put my wedding ring on top of it cos it won't fit further up my finger!

I was going to wear mine on my right hand for the ceremony then switch back afterwards
