No I dont think it's scuzzy at all, weddings are expensive and you are basically buying your friends/family dresses!

Do you have time to wait till the sales in Debenhams? The Debut sections change so regularly and the sales are normally really good. Where are you based? Mine weren't that expensive and you could always get a plain dress from a cheaper shop and accessorize it yourself.

I ended up getting plain dresses and adding some embellishment myself.

I also was a bridesmaid at a wedding and wore a deep burgandy dress that the bride ordered from the states so it might be an idea to find a dress you like in a shop here and then try to order it online. The ones we had were Forever Yours.

i found my bridesmaid dresses on there

i was a little unsure about buying from there as you cannot actually SEE what your buying if you get what i meen but the lady i got my dresses from lived quite near so i went to see them before i got them and they are fab !!

i only paid £20 for my girls dresses but they are really good quality brand new dresses

i have also got a lot of other things from ebay now it really is worth a look xx
