Reassurance, please...

So, we've just decided to go for the better photographer, and not have a videographer. Have we made the right decision?!

I don't know if you have or not, depends what's important to you. Lots of people on here love their wedding video and the ones I've seen have been brilliant. We however decided against it, my OH really didn't want one so we put both budgets together and got a fab tog I'm very happy with that decision as we probably wouldn't have been able to afford our tog if we got a video too.

I think that the most important thing is that you are happy. Not everybody chooses to have a wedding video so I would say it really comes down to what is most important to you.

If it is a case of budget then perhaps I can offer a suggestion... as I am a Videographer just setting up my company, I have a Special Offer running at the moment in order to build on my portfolio. If you're interested then you can view it on my profile page.

Please feel free to send me a message if you would like more information.

Hope your wedding planning is going well!

If you love your togs pictures and feel comformatble with them covering your day then I'd say yes you've made the right decision!

Both my sisters had a family friend video their wedding, apart from the time that they were first shown it, both their videos live in our parents attic along with their wedding dresses. they both said they are so glad they didnt pay for a tog and when they look at their wedding photos all the memories come flooding back.

My friend had her brother in law just do a simple video with a small hand held cam, she loves the video and it was free, so I think you've made the right decision as you still have the choice to get a cheap hand held and let one of your guests do it!
