Can you reciprocate with a leaflet for anti-ageing treatments or similar? ?

? though, I have been reading you posts on here about the problems you've had with her.

I'm with Mrs Lord send her an antiaging leaflet, or just ignore it pretend like you never saw it if she sent it in the post she will never know if it arrived or not.

sometimes I think parents onl;y role in life is to drive us crazy!

Poor you, but I agree with the anti ageing leaflet response!

My nan does things like this to my mum. She lends her magazines as she 'thinks she'll find them interesting' and leave the page open on the diet section!

OMG what a c*w! Sorry, I know she's your mum, but still...

I think the anti-ageing leaflets are a good idea. Or, even better, some old age home brochures. I send thee to my mum sommetimes, but she knows I'm only joking

Haaa! I'm enjoying the anti-aging cream idea, but I genuinely think that she feels she's "helping me" in some way.

I just don't know what goes through her head between picking it up and deciding to put it in an an envelope and send to me!

Why would you do that? I just find it shocking. Do you not think as she was addressing it, she was thinking, hmm, maybe this is a bit mean?!

What a waste of a 1st class stamp.

OH will be livid when he gets home.

When I was 15, I gave her a postcard (for her Birthday) which said "Be nice to your kids, they'll choose your nursing home.".........

...............it didn't go down well. ?

Stick it in an envelope, without a note, and just send it back to her.

What a charmer! Part of me would send it back toether with SAGA holiday details and Age Concern leaflets but the other part says ignore her - she is trying to get a rise out of you. You are the bigger person here remember!

Yup - it is most certainly her handwriting. She has a very unique style!

She also did the thing that she always does of re-using an old envelope by sticking white labels over the original address and re-addressing it.

There is no doubt it's from her.

Blimey...I agree, sometimes mothers are just here to pee us off....when I told my mum proudly that I've nearly lost 4st now, she said oh well, you still got another 4st to lose...no well done or nothing....grrrrrr

I'd just bin the leaflet, don't even give her the satisfaction of acknowledging it!

She certainly has some funny ideas! I'd either just ignore her, send back the leaflet or have that big chat along the lines of what BWC said on the other thread.
