My favourite is Aveda but it's £16 a bottle so I'm not buying at the moment (credit crunch and all that). I'm currently using Charles Worthing's volume shampoo and conditioner and it's fine. The conditioner is particularly good because you really only need to use a small amount.

I love Aveda too the shampure one but as you said its the credit crunch and that is a lot to spend on the barnet............. I didn't like the charles worthington volume one x

Which they'd bring avedas prices down

You can get it on ebay cheaper, still about £10 each though.

I colour my hair and find Aussie shampoo and conditioner is great, gives great shine and body. Quite a few shops are doing deals on it at the moment too. HTH.

I'm using John Freida Frizz ease weather works atm and my hair is in the best condition it has been in for years. Although it may be due to finally having a good cut as well.

Currently using Umberto Ginanninininini for brunettes. It's adding colour which is fab and doesn't leave a resifue like the John Freida Brilliant Brunette range.

Others I use are Toni & Guy (green) and once a week I use Head and Shoulders Citrus to help detox my hair as it gets greasy really easily.

I'm using Aussie "Long & Luscious" at the moment (it was on offer in my local Boots). So far I'm liking it, washes well, conditions nicely and smells gorgeous too. I've got long (past shoulders nearly at bra strap level) brown hair and it's definitely got more shine and life to it than previously when I was on Herbal Essences (which I didn't particularly like to be honest).

I have thick course hair and have used Kerastase Bain Satin 2 alternated with their colour treated range in the red bottles (I forget the name) for years. I was very sceptical as I'd never really noticed any difference in shampoos and it's quite pricey but the difference this made to my hair was amazing and it lasts for ages.

They have various ranges covering all hair types.

I'm probably a bit late joining the bandwagon, but I currently love L'Oreal Elvive Smooth-Intense (because I'm worth it!)
