Recommendations for Family Cookbooks

daisylou, 4 October, 2009 at 15:29 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 5

I am so bored of the cookbooks that I use to plan our weekly menus (mostly the Tana Ramsay ones, plus Delia) and would like to treat myself to a couple of new books - I'd be really grateful for your recommendations!

I really like JO's Ministry of Food. Got some really easy quick suppers, but also lots of other delicous meals.

Another vote for Ministry of Food. I have 101 Simple Suppers and 101 Cheap eats, both BBC Good Food books which I find really useful

I've got Fay Ripleys family cookbook and that has some lovely things in it and another vote for ministry of food. I've had a quick look at the economy gastronomy one as well, although a lot of those recipes are on the bbc website.
