Recs. for spa in the south west

sugar&spice2, 15 May, 2009 at 12:23 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 5

I am looking for somewhere where some friends and I can relax all day with a nice lunch and few treatments inbetween.

I am about an hour south of bristol if that helps.

Thanks in advance

Https://www.devere.co.uk/venues-and-hotels/the-st--david-s-hotel-and-spa is the place that popped into my mind when I read where you live.

My hairdresser is also quite local so if you fancied a sleek new do or your makeup done I would highly recommend them Lara their makeup lady.

The most obvious one is the Therme Spa in Bath.

I like the Relaxation Centre in Clifton, Bristol - very low key and relaxed. Not sure about the food there

I have heard great things about the spa at the Cadbury House Hotel & Spa in Congressbury

I was also going to say the Thermae Spa in Bath. I'm going there in a couple of weeks, can't wait!

I've not been myself but have heard good things about Cedar Falls - just outside Taunton if that's not too far to come?

Aqua Sana at Centre Parcs Longleat. You can go as a day guest without staying at the park itself.

Register on the website and they'll send you special offers - they had weekday 2 for 1 offers recently which made it a real bargain.

i've only had a treatment in there as I didn't have time to explore the spa features, but it looks utterly fabulous. I've friends who have been who have reported back very favourably. It's on my list of things to do very soon.
