Rectangular vases

Noodle2Be, 4 November, 2010 at 12:10 Posted on Planning 0 14

Anyone know where I can find some rectangular vases? I'm after them for the top table, to hold a single line of roses in.

TIA

I've got some at home that someone kindly gave me but wont be using on the day. Where are you? I'll take a pic of them when I get home if you are interested.

Try ebay too! I got 12 circular vases - 40cm by 10cm for £40! Exactly what I needed and picked them up. Love ebay! xx

    HTH Smiley smile

Oh dear - if you are feeling disorganised you won't want to talk to me about what we've (i've) done because I am a mega control freak - i'm happy to admit it. What have you got sorted? I'm sure all is good.

We have everything booked, all the big things now, and am working on the little bits. Should I post more detail or am I going to scare you?

We've only been engaged since 2nd Oct and so far have booked the church and venue, sent out STDs, and booked the tog. In the process of organising florists - Im finding this really hard as they are so expensive! H2B is attempting to organise the entertainment, but I think that he needs a slight kick up the backside!!

I've also bought some of the stuff for the tables. But as for clothing, argh!!! I went dress shopping last week and it was a disaster, my mum was a damn nightmare!!! SO Im going to go again in the new year, also the colour I've chosen for the bridesmaid dresses is really hard to find, so its going to be interesting!

So, scare away please! It may give me a kick up the backside!!!! Smiley smile

    xx

You've done really well in that short space of time - well done! I've been planning since May so had a good head start.

I feel your pain with the dress shopping, my mom kept saying my dresses weren't WOW enough - I could have killed her! But we did get there after a good 25 dresses.

    So far we have organised:

    The church and reception venues

My dress, shoes (x2), garter, veil, jewelry etc

Wedding car - mine and OHs

    Chair covers

    DJ

Florist all sorted and decided upon

Photographer booked including his photo gift book package

    Suits booked

    Cake chosen and booked

Hotels booked for night before the wedding and for the wedding night

    Had my first hair trial

    Booked the videographger

Booked the honeymoon including parking and hotels

    Got food choices sorted out

    Invites on my desk

    Ring brought..

Soooo many things to do though. x

I've just been looking for some.

I've seen nice examples at Homebase, Dunelm, John Lewis and Wilkinsons.

My perosnal taste is for the thicker, handmade recycled glass ones. John Lewis have the nicest and Wilkinsons the cheapest. And I hear a rumour Dunelm will have a sale soon.

The are actually these Ikea ones:

You are more than welcome to have mine (I have 6), but it would probably cost more in petrol?

I got these from a florist wholesaler in Cardiff, not sure where you are but if you have a wholesaler near by i found them the cheapest by far for all my table centre stuff.
