Red Heads in here please...

I think maybe stay away from red and green - the neutral colours like fawn, latte etc really suit red-heads (I think)

My sister and redhead was my bridesmaid. She, and my other 'artificial' redhead SIL bridesmaid, wore chocolate brown dresses.

I got married in August 2007.

ETA They both looked fab

Originally my colour scheme was choc brown and pink....but now we're getting married in Cyprus I'm not sure if the brown dresses would be too hot?!

As a redhead I'd advise staying away from reds, pinks and purples but I think greens actually compliments redheads (after all red & green are complmentary colours - been teaching that in school this week!) I think other than those I think most will be ok. What colours did you have in mind?

I wouldn't recommend pink but if you have your mind set on it, try some on & see. If not how about a light brown (my friend had this colour & it looked lovely).

Ooh yes a choc brown colour would be lovely maybe you could go a few shades lighter if you are worried about it being too much?

Thank you everyone for your comments! This BM in particular lives over in Ireland, so I'll probably get a swatch and send it over, or just get her to try on dresses and take pics herself and see which we like best!
