I am thinking of using them too.

If you aren't looking to go soon whatever you do don't fill in the form and leave your phone number, i did this when i was just looking for a rough price (not going on hen weekend till july 09) and "jamie" from red seven kept ringin me and ringin and pestering, in the end i had to block his number!

Have to say Royalty, if they'd done that to me I would no longer be considering using them!

That's the one we look at too, but that doesn't include flights, and when we wanted to go it was peak time so flights were around £200 per person

I had the same problem with Lima calling me constantly after I made an enquiry. I didn't end up booking with them anyway as the itinerary they came up with would have meant a 25 mile trip to one evening activity (and he said it was 12 miles - not sure if he was dishonest or just didn't know). Ours was only going to be 1 night in Leeds, so based on my experience I personally wouldn't trust them to organise something abroad!

I logged a request like Royalty and had the same issue, again with Jamie! He was so annoying and evenually I too blocked his calls!

Also H2B went on a stag with them in Feb to Budapest and Red 7 had organised paintballing for them all. The paintballing company was shoddy, one of the guys ended up in hospital after slipping on the ground in the paintballing arena and falling against a rusty old car which wasn't marked as a hazard and it was generally a big nightmare.

It has been a misson ever since to get compensation, get Red 7 to help and generally get them to show any interest, my H2B has chased and chased and it was only when we threatened further action and threatened going to Watchdog that Red 7 showed any interest! They were awful!

H2B's stag has instead been booked through Chilli Sauce who have been very good so far.

I actually booked my hen abroad myself using Easyjet for flights and Alpha Rooms for te hotel - cheaper and much easier!

Also Red 7 quoted me over £200 just for the hotel and activities without flights. Flights were another £175!

I managed to get it for £249 total per person by doing it myself.

I'm using them for my friends hen weekend in September, so far so good. They came via a reccommendation from a friend who has used them twice before.

They have been very flexible & great with incorporating my own ideas

Hi - I will say 50/50 with them.....

my b'maid organised my hen weekend to be a surprise for me this July. Now please bear in mind that my bmaid was having good intentions but is bad at organising and chaing things (maybe that is out of order as I am a project manager and have a monica-ish fetish of being organised)

Anyway, bmaid made enquiries on Last Night of Freedom and they said the hen had to pay in full so everyone could pay £35 - I did this by giving my cc number to bmaid to pay. She then gets told hens by RED SEVEN they can't pay online or separately so they have to all give to bmaid for her to pay,. she doesn't ahve a debit/cc card = so she sends me a cheque and I pay by dd - again giving her my details. HANG ON - she started with Last Night of Freedom - turns out it is all one company...... Now even though all hens have paid deposit to bmaid, and now paid deposits. When you log on line (we can now have this facility) it says that noone has paid deposit. So hens question if bmaid has actually paid and ask me. I end up having to explain to them.

Now all is ok til a couple of weeks ago - Bmaid, emailed to ask for payment details and times and heard nothing (ok so bmaid should have phoned) she did get a call from red seven two days before payment (full and final) was due. So she sends a text out to all hens. A pal from work gives me thir money so I phone up red severn and pay.I ask Red Seven not to tell me what they have planned for me and in all fairness they didn't. I also asked for the hotel details. When I got these I wasn't pleased - we are going to manchester and the hotel they booked is 3 miles outside the city... I mentioned to bmaid,w ho has been having 6.00am text reminders that we need to pay each morning. She had a paddy and so I suggested with her other commitments she should not do hen night anymore but get another bmaid to help (lets call BM2). To cut a long story short, I talked to my mum who let is slip we were having a mexican in the hotel.

Now I know what we are doing, I might as well do everything, so I phone up and ask red seven to tell me all and then I realise they have booked with bmaid that we are out in the city centre of manchester for meals and a spa - nothing except a bed is at the hotel. give them their due our bmaid did sign the quote that said the hotel was next to man city fc. (ok so maybe she is not to know that MCFC if outside the city centre) - but for red seven, surely they would get us in the city centre.

So I phone as say as bride, I now am not surprised for my hen weekend I have one Bmaid upset and my mum doesn't want to come! joy eh> So I want to move to a city centre hotel. They say no probs but you need to pay an extra £20 per person.. but to come down a 'star' at the hotel but to be closer to centre. I phone the hotel they want to move us too and would cost an extra £5 per person - so I go back to red seven to say that I understand they need commission but this is ridiculous. I said I would pay £10 per person.

In the end, they couldn't do this their end so their suggestion was to reprice the package without the hotel and then refund me the hotel difference and let me sort it out myself. however, when I was with them I had £45 per night accommodation and then with the reprice I now had £40 per night

They have just done this and I booked into the hotel that I found direct and I am expecting the money this week into my account.

so I think that REd seven did a great job to resolve my issues, that my bmaid if was like me should have researched before accepting but at the same time should they really book something that is miles away????

I'm now happy with what we have planned and what we are doing, the boys however have booked theirs via Chili sauce and its all good - no issues.

Personally would say that if you have the time then I would think about sorting it yourself and if you use a booking company check the details.

    Hi All,

From personal experience I would never recommend anybody deal with redseven.

Prior to booking they are very helpful, however thats as far as it goes.

The online payment procedure is a tad confusing (especially for big groups) and in our instance they completely got the figures wrong such that the 'pay balance' for each person total was incorrect (IE - It took too much) and it took me having to work out manually what the correct (and pre-agreed) total should be before they would change the figures. No apology for the mistake or confusion of course.

We went to Barcelona and arrived around 10.30pm at night local time. We were dropped around the corner from La Ramblas and just told 'go onto Ramblas and its third left'. 4 jaunts up Ramblas and 2 phone calls later and it transpired it wasn't a turn off, just a pedestrianised arched walkway on a urine smelling side street frequented by pimps and dealers. We were told to ring the bell and ask for our assistant, but were not told which door number to ring, nor given any explanation why she couldnt come and meet us at the drop off point

We arranged tickets to watch a Barcelona game at the Nou Camp. Despite having 2 full days to give them to us, they decided that the ideal time would be at the very start of the self proclaimed 'biggest pub crawl in the world'. Wonderful time to be entrusted with fourteen match tickets worth around 500 Euros in total, just as your about to embark on a trek through bar after bar with the sole aim of getting hammered!

When leaving our rooms we were told by our rep we could leave us our bags in one room for the 6 hours we had between checking out and leaving for the airport. Sadly noone had informed the non English speaking maid and we had another hour of phone calls and panic trying to sort the situation out ourselves.

On the final morning we rang, as requested, to confirm the pick up point and time (we had been previously told it would be at the drop off point) and were told it would be a different location and about 30 minutes later than we believed. Alarm bells rang so we made a series of calls and texts and were given 3 varying stories on locations and times so trusted the original one.

We arrived at that pick up point 20 minutes before the agreed time and waited, and waited and waited. A series of phone calls to the reseven office in UK assured us everything was fine yet still no coach. We waited as long as possible (knowing we had an hours transfer and needed to check in) and after a series of texts and multiple phone calls (non returned) we got redseven to agree to refund us the 4 taxis required which we would now have to pay at 120 Euros apiece. After being on the road for 15 minutes we recieved a call saying the coach had arrived, bear in mind that the arrival time and slower pace of a coach would have left us with about 40 minutes till take off...

On arrival back home we rang redseven and asked them to sort out refunding the near £500 we spent between us on taxis. Unsurprisingly, this was not as easy as agreed. We mailed, texted, rang and were continually fobbed off. Promises of 'being put on hold' while connected to the manager resulted in us being cut off, and were continually ignored by the manager for well over a month. Eventually once the threat of court proceedings had even failed, it was only the threat of 14 lads taking up residence in their reception that prompted a payment.

Incidentally, no offer was made to refund the price of transfer that each of us had paid in the original package but had not receieved, or for all the phone calls/texts and inconvienience.

As you have probably gathered, im no fan of redseven, justifiably so I hope you will agree, and if anyone is thinking of using them to arrange a special occasion I urge you to think again in order to retain your sanity and keep your blood pressure to a bearable level!!!

I booked with Redseven, and they were fantastic. Sure, they call you back - I thought that was a great thing - better than no-one ever calling when you're trying to find out info!

Once I had made a booking they were brilliant in not only suffering our constant venue changes and group number changes, but making the process as pain free and tailored as possible.
Their guidance was essential in our final decision making process and it turned out to be invaluable – Prague, and the activities we booked were perfect for us. The actual weekend ran very smoothly, from being collected at the airport, to the information and maps we were provided, to the activities that were booked. Everyone in my group was very impressed at how organised everything was and at how friendly and tolerant the guides and people involved were.
I must admit to being a bit apprehensive about the standard of accommodation I had chosen before the trip – however, the apartments with 6 sharing, were clean, very spacious and right in the centre of Prague. A particular highlight was the shooting day in which we all got to fire AK47s, M16s, pump action shot guns and sniper rifles at a specialist facility outside of Prague….where else do you get to do that on holiday? Very safe and absolutely fantastic fun. The bars indicated for us all to go to were very welcoming, reasonable price-wise and easy to find. I’ve already recommended Redseven to a mate who is organising a stag do next year and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending redseven again to anyone thinking of organising a group trip abroad – you’ll have a fantastic time, with all the stress removed.
