Red with what other colour?

We had claret as our colour and teamed it with cream. Men had cream waistcoats with red cravats and hankies, my flowergirl wore a cream dress with a claret sash and jacket and as it was an autumn wedding we had cream, claret and deep orange flowers.

Ivory /purple / gold ?

I'm having red and silver, with ivory accents.

Ah, thanks! It was our little girl's christening day, as well as our wedding day so we wanted her to wear something a bit spesh. Just checked the name of the roses and they were: vendella, black bacarra and cherry brandy. The effect was really beautiful and we were really pleased.

It's just quite a different colour isn't it, hadn't even thought about orange. I had thought about Charcoal Grey/Silver or Purple as options aswell.

There's definately something quite chic about red & ivory for sure. How sweet are all the pageboys! Like the bridesmaid dresses with the one shoulder strap.
