I lurked a lot but not really sure who I remember the most.

I do remember reading some reports and Ducky/Kharv/Flows were my favourite!

I also remember reading a few things Funky put and guessed he was a guy, I was then surprised it wasn't common knowledge!

Oh I remember Spangler from my early days. Im off to look at my first posts!

My first first ones were under my previous username so they are hard to track. I sounded like a right dick though, I know that.

I most definitely remember AJ, but I was just a lurker then. I remember Canary as she, like me, was here before being engaged. Tricks, Flow, Mini, Cricks and Footlong also stick in my mind

I am going back a loooong way now to 2003/2004 when I got married the first time and was here with a different username. I remember NickJ, Pans and SJ (think that was her name?). Was extremely cliquey and there seemed to be a lot more explosive rows. I remember posting a question about where I could get my BM at the time some pretty ear plug things (apologies for the vague terminology!) as a gift on WP and over on OT someone took it that I was trying to change my BM's style and I was being a bridezilla and rude for wanting to buy her different ear plugs to wear on the day, just as i'd bought the other BMs new earrings. She started a whole thread to *** about me seemingly without realising I'd read her post on OT too! I found it rather amusing. ?

I honestly cannot remember who was the first i spoke to or stood out..

I remember NickJ, and Baron. Was SJ, Jesus? I remember Glider too. We had (a couple) more male hitchers back then

Ahh memories of arrogant Hitchers, yes it is coming back to me now, I vaguely remember Baron, and yes I think SJ did rename herself Jesus, I think I left not long after that!

I think mine were Cricks, Bittersweet (or _Kate_ as she was then) and Spangler.

I remember Allgold78 as we were date twins, along with Rod.

FTLOMB is the main one I remember from my early days. I lurked around a bit before I posted and I remember FTLOMB mainly for her scary avatar and sometime blunt posts ?

Tricks, Cricks, Spangler, RedBarry although she was illicit back in the day and of course the lovely AJ!

Aw thanks Erin! Did not expect to be a person who someone remembers.

For me the person who stands out most is JoJo. She's the one who's always been a doll, especially with the break up with my H.

I was warned by someone that there were two people who thought they owned the forum (Cricks & Tricks), so they were the first names I remember.

I think someone had a go at me early on (maybe Red Barry???) about bigging up my Tog who wasn't a HIB. He'd run a FB competition for free photography and we had won (even though i know it was kind of fixed as it wasn't a proper competition and I knew him vaguely), so I wanted to recommend him as a thanks.

EDIT: I've just checked and it was not Red Barry, she just agreed with what someone said.

Kharvs was the first report I read, I remember rod (I thought she was a man at first!) It was when she'd asked for advice on a dress I think I realised oh maybe not. And ATB when talking about baking she threatened to turn up on my doorstep!

FTLOMB was the first one. I thought some of her post were quite blunt lol.

I'd prefer not to say, not for any ominous reason, but that was at the time of my first marriage, which didn't work out and so all that I posted about back then I wouldn't really want to remember now! I wasn't a prolific poster so doubt you would remember me anyway.

I lurk but always seem to be a thread killer over here so stopped posting.

I was lurking around the time of missrae's flouncing and desperately wanted to post telling her what an arrogant jumped up little bit she was! I didn't think it would be a nice way to start my hitched career though

I can't say for sure but I think Tricks was probably one of the first I encountered. I posted about my venue and she replied saying it had been her 2nd choice I think - then I ended up using the same H&MU lady too.

For me it was CB, Flow, Tricks, Red Barry and Spangles. (apologies to others hanging around then!) AJ goes without saying but he wasn't one of the first.

Bonus question: those of us who are FB friends- who was the first hitched you were friends with? For me it was Spangles, followed by Flow. The both thought my real name was actually made up!! ( why I'd make up such a stupid name I don't know!)

Early on I remember Farah fowler as she started a post on essex bridal shops which was one of the first things I looked at/commented on. I also remember gnashers giving me some v good advice on jewellery/my dress early on. Others that generally stuck out early on were funky, kjay, mini & Kharv. I remember reading a mix of very funny and very helpful posts and thinking hitchers seemed like a good crowd. I think my first ot post was one about people (wrongly) saying hitched is b(tchy/cliquey.
