Hello!

Has anyone bought a replica/copy wedding dress or bridesmaid dress?

I'm considering buying 2 Alfred Angelo replicas for my bridesmaids which we love but I can't afford the full whack. The reviews for the site seem good...but think some of them are probably written by the company themselves for a few reasons!

Would be really good to know anyone who has done this and what their experience is, and obviously if you can recommend or really NOT recommend anywhere, I'd be grateful of any specifics!

I know it's a bit of a gamble, which is why I'd really appreciate some expert customer feedback!!

    I took the gamble on my wedding dress and it paid off! ?

    I ordered mine through Landy. They do have the Alfred Angelo dresses on their website.

    I took my dress to a family friend who's a pretty good seamstress for her to do the alterations and she was very impressed with the work and the quality of material ?

    Hi

    I have ordered a few wedding dresses from a couple of different China websites and they have both been really good.

    I started a thread about it earlier this week, its probably on page 2 or 3 now though. I posted some photos as well!

    I think you should do it! I am looking at few sites at the moment and i am def gonna order online for the BM dresses! so much cheaper.

    Found a beautiful dress from coast this sunday but £160 ? thats £480 as i need 3 of them.... just too expensive

    I had a look at Landy bridal after seing geodiebarbie post (thanks by the way!) and the dresses are amazing!

    You've been sooooooo helpful - landy sounds really good, I've just emailed them as they didn't have the exact dress on their website but hopefully they'll do it - so helpful to read people's thoughts and experiences about this - I wish I'd known about these places before I bought my dress! Nevermind, what's another few hundred...gulp!

    Feanor - I can't find your thread - would you mind posting the dress pics again if it's not a pain? Or do you remember what the threads called? Thanks :0)
