Restaurants in Las Vegas?

Erin8, 5 March, 2013 at 08:10 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 7

I was wondering if anyone can recommend me a restaurant in Vegas, ideally one that does an amazing steak -OH loves his steak! We are planning to get married in Vegas next year and l am trying to find some special places to eat -both after the ceremony and while we are there.

Actually any Vegas suggestions and recommendations would be great thanks!

Apparently the Stratosphere (sp) does great steak.

If he likes steak he'll prob also love the Harley Davidson Cafe - amazing burgers and pulled pork type of things. Great frozen cocktails too!

How about you google 'best steak in Vegas' and see what it comes up with?

SW Steakhouse at the Wynn (based on what the other girls told me - I'm vegetarian). Not cheap but you can split (my Mum and Aunty shared a big $160 steak). This is a fab restaurant which could be really up itself but isn't. Ask for a table outside for a fab view of the Lake Of Dreams, and all the special extras that entails. This is a place for a five course blowout but expect to pay several hundred dollars (the food and service is worth it). Even the bread is to die for.

Knees recommended the steak at Mon Ami Gabi at Paris. We went there for brunch in the end so steak wasn't on the menu. But if the brunch was an indicator of the standard of food, it will be fab.

We ate at Roy's, which is the número uno restaurant in Vegas (according to Tripadvisor). Again, no steak was eaten but the food (other meats) was truly amazing, and they make a massive effort to personalise your menu and dishes (they include cards, photos and write messages in your dessert!). Fab atmosphere as well, maybe a little more casual than the first two. Would be an excellent place to celebrate a wedding.

No, no, I recommended the steak in Gallagher's steak house in New York New York (recommneded Mon Ami Gabi separately - hope you enjoyed!).

Gallagher's is nothing fancy, just a regular steak house, but the steak is absolutely amazing. You can see it all hung up in the windows.

I ate at Mon Ami in August, and would highly recommend it, the food was really nice and the cocktails were lovely too. Not sure how many of you are eating after the ceremony but there was a wedding in there when I went and they had a seperate private dining area which looked nice. (they had the doors closed so we only saw them on the way out)

We went to Wolfgang Puk's CUT - it was amazing but SO expensive. Gorgeous though - we went there after watching Eau - Cirque Du Soleil. Amazing.

We ate breakfast at hash house a go go's one morning. We didnt need to eat for the rest of the day. We ate THE best burger I have EVER eaten at PJ Clarkes in the Ceasars mall.

Oh I'm jealous I REALLY want to go back to Vegas. I loved it.

Thanks for all of your help everyone, it is much appreciated! All of this talk of food is making me very hungry, not helped by me having a rubbish lunch today. Quite a few people have mentioned Mon Ami Gabi and l think another Hitcher went for their werdding breakfast which they said was amazing.

I can't wait to google the restaurants when l have more time to look at the menus, locations etc.
