RIP Dad

Dad passed away peacefully at around 10.30pm yesterday in Wakefield Hospice, with Mum by his side.

Thanks to all of you who've sent prayers and good wishes over the last few months. They've been greatly appreciated.
RIP Dad

    Oh Mel. You must be heartbroken. I am struggling to hold back the tears for you. I am so sorry to hear this. How sad after such a happy day you shared.

    Hold on to all those happy memories you made, I'm sure he was so so proud of you and how strong you are.

    I'm so sorry to hear your news but so pleased he managed to be there for you on your wedding day. They say people choose their time to go and I think he fought to hang on for the wedding. RIP.

    From your posts here, Mel, it has been so evident how much you love your Dad. My thought are with you and your family at this sad time.

    I'm so glad your Dad was with you on your big day. I'm sure wanting to fulfil his role in escorting you down the aisle made his last days happier and very proud.

    I would like to add my sympathies at this very sad time. If we all feel so sad then heaven knows what you are going through. I am so pleased he shared your special day with you even though it must be all a bit raw at the moment.

    I know i dont post in here much but my deepest sympathies to you.

    You can see from the photo's in your wedding report how proud your dad was to give you away. I truly believe that when people are ill they hang on for those special occasion and your dad was their for yours. May you treasure those memories forever and make lots of happy new ones in your future.
