Roasting smoked gammon

HeidiHoHoHole, 24 December, 2008 at 09:00 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 5

The instructions say to roast for 35 mins per 500gs, that seems an awful lot doesn't it? I don't want it all dry.

How do you cook yours?

I would normally boil it, Sun, but I don't have a pot big enough for this porker, sadly.

MBK, I think I will try the 25 mins and see how I go, 35 just seems too long.

    Thank you ?

Are you cooking it today for tomorrow?

I would just do it nice and slow really low if that is the case.

Thanks, Sun, that's fab! And more like I thought it should be.

The instructions said to cook for 35 mins per 500gs @ 200c! The poor bugger would have been cremated.
