Rock the frock / Trash the dress - without ruining the dress!!

Monkeybear959, 13 September, 2009 at 19:54 Posted on Planning 0 2

Hi all

I know this sounds a bit strange but I want to do a photo shoot with my wedding dress in a funky fashion sort of way around manchester similar to the last lot I did below but I don't want to 'trash' my dress... will they do that do you think??

Has anyone does similar? I love my dress too much.

Thanks in advance

There was a thread about this earlier today, and that may have some of the answers you need!

I posted on the other thread. I did a TTD - in the New Forest in March so bit muddy underfoot. My dress is slightly muddy on the bottom - but it was grubby on the bottom anyway from the wedding. It still looks fine - not trashed!!

    Hi Claire,

It's something that's really catching on, that's already quite popular in the US I believe. Trash the dress sounds really negative but it's just really about doing a shoot of you in your wedding dress and husband in his suit and it's just a really cool way of getting some great shots that you wouldn't get on the day, and usually in a cool location too - beach, forest, fairground etc. The dress only gets 'trashed' as much as you would want it to!
