Roller disco in Vauxhall

bigpants, 21 July, 2008 at 19:48 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 3

Has anyone been? Was thinking about going there for my friend's hen night. Looks like goo dfun, just concerned that it may get a bit 'boring' after 3 or so hours of it. Can you take skates off and dance after a while? Any feedback?

    Hi

I've been with work and it was fun but only if you are good at rollerskating - and have good balance - otherwise its a bit boring because all you can do is drink (!) Plus there were loads of 18 yr olds there the night I went looking v. skinny and fashionable in hotpants and legwarmers. You can't just dance as no one else is. It is fun but maybe not for a whole night unless the hen is really up for it

Hope that helps - have fun! If you are looking for other ideas, my friend had a pole dancing lesson for part of her hen do, or the retro bowling place in holborn (all star lanes) is quite cool too. Am off to Brighton for my hen do.

My friend went for her hen night.

They had a great time and dressed in 80's gear, I didnt go along with a few others as at 35 I felt too old and it wasnt my cup of tea.

My friend is having her 30th there and I'm dreading it. Can't skate, fall over a lot anyway (have the coordination of a drunk stork).

I will be propping up the bar and moaning about young 'uns today ?

Thanks for all the replies. Yep, thought it might be a good laugh up to a point when you just want to dance rather than just skating around in circles. Ok thinking cap on again....thanks!
