Rolls Royce Phantom Hire

I received a quote of £895 for a RR Phantom for 2-3 hours from Ace Star Limousines who cover Derbyshire and Yorkshire.

I didn't end up booking them, because I went for a classic car instead. However, based on my interaction with them, I wouldn't recommend them on customer service. They were quite snide and abrupt to deal with and when I indicated I only needed the car for maximum of 1 hour (it's a 20 minute trip from OH hotel to the venue, so factoring in their journey to us etc, 1 hour is plenty) they were really not interested and said 2-3 hours is the minimum hire period.

Incidentally, they also initially quoted me £350, and it was only when I called to confirm and they had taken my card details, that they told me the first quote was an error and the 'real' price was £895.

The one thing I learned from my searching was that the quotes for 'executive' cars came out much higher than vintage cars. As we were already hiring a horse & carriage, we didn't want to spend the best part of £1000 on a car as well!!

That's not cool..... Not happy with the feedback on this company.. Maybe a re-think x x
