Romantica Wedding dresses

Suze, 6 August, 2008 at 08:44 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hi Ladies

I have seen a dress I love in the shop I got my bridesmaid dresses, going to go back in a couple of weeks to try it on ?

It is a romantica dress and I was wondering if anyone else was having a romantica dress? Also what are the normal prices for these dresses, I really don't want to spend over £1000.

Thanks

Suze xx

I had a romantica dress when I got married 2 years ago. It was beautiful.

They're all very reasonably priced - I never came across any more than £1k - mine came in at £725 inc. made to measure skirt - should have been £695 - but I'm a short person and because of the design of the dress it has to be made to measure.

They embroider a blue rose inside every dress to get your something blue.

A romantica dress was in my final 2. Of all the ones I tried on this one was the cheapest. I saw it for £450 in one shop!! My advice is shop around, dress prices can vary dramatically from shop to shop.

My Romantica dress was £425. I didn't pick it cos it was cheap, it was just a happy coincidence! Part of me wishes I'd got a lace up dress though ☹️

I didn't realise the one I loved was the cheapest one, they are just well priced (and well made too)!!

Can you not have a lace back added? the one I went with in the end was zip up, and I've had it altered to be lace back.

Mine is a romantica dress - it was £650 but i got a £50 off voucher. There's loads of detailing in it and i think it looks more expensive than it was. Here's a pic

The picture is tiny, sorry. It's called Kashmir.

Thank you! Have invested in some chicken fillets and several different bras/basques to make the best of it. I'm sure by Saturday I won't care anyway! No one will notice except me!
