What do you have at the moment, and what sort of room decorations were you thinking of?

Do you have a party supplies shop near to you? It's a bit late to rely on stuff getting through the post so I think you need to try and find as much as you can locally. Do you have a local facebook page that you could post on to see if there's anyone local who can help? For example, we've got a couple dedicated to giving things for free, and a £5 and under site for the area. You could try Gumtree for your area too and give Preloved a go. Dunelm can be good and also Matalan has some pretty things in at the moment. Depending what your theme is, you can pick up bits and bobs in local charity, bric a brac shops.

If you've got access to a cash and carry card, you can get some things from there. Also if you're near to a Country Basket store they have some fab stuff all reasonably priced.

I feel for you, not what you need in the last few days.

Not sure if these would go with the kind of theme you have in mind but they look pretty impressive to me and I think they would be do-able DIY...

You could buy the flowers in baskets ready prepared from a supermarket or garden centre, then blow up your balloons with helium, tie a piece of ribbon on them and secure it in the soil and then add the decorative touches of netting and braid ;-)

You can buy little disposable helium tanks so you could blow up your own balloons!

Edit: you could also add a little sign to the basket with your table number...

You could do it in any colour/style, here's another example...

Try and get some jars from freecycle or gumtree, you could tie a little coloured ribbon or string around the neck and put gypsophila bunches in them. And if your budget stretches enough you could hire small mirrored plates to sit them on?

or with floating candles in like this

and for above the dancefloor you could do this with balloons and appropriate coloured organza (cheap cheap on ebay!) or get cute bunting to come out from the centre?
