Room in the Rodings/Essex

No sorry! Went to a Wedding on Monday at the Ried rooms but that isn't much help. Wasn't the best if honest... they serve the buffet in a different room to the DJ so there was noone other that around 4/5 people in the room at one time. x

Yeah this is the reason we didn't like the Reid Rooms...just wanted to know about the other one...Room in the Rodings. Its all one big space!

Hello! We're getting married at the Reid Rooms in November and although it may not be everyones cup of tea, we love it and I cant wait!

The buffet being in a separate area isnt something that we're too worried about - the main thing is that the Bar is in the same room as the DJ/Dance floor....dont you always find the men propping up the bar! Im obsessed with trying to keep everyone on the dance floor so hopefully this shouldnt be a problem.

Never looked at the Room in the Rodings but we've got some friends having their reception there in May so will have a looksie and let you know.

The Reid rooms was lovely, it was just a shame that after they have tanked up at the bar, the next place they prop up is the buffet table! The venue is stunning! The ceremony room was just too small for us.

I will have an ask around some of my friends at work and see if anyone has some info on the Room though! Must admit it wasn't until your post that I realised they were different venues! haha I thought the room was just one of the Reid Rooms!

That's fanastic! Mary is a wonderful lady, and has been very helpful so far.

Are you having your own caterers? We're going with Magpie Caterers...their food looks fab!

Yes Mary is lovely isnt she!! We are on the wedding package so our caterers are Chicks who Ive heard nothing but good things about!
