Hi ladies. Need some assistance please.

I was Originally thinking about having the dancefloor in the middle of the room and the tables around it for the wedding breakfast. Thought it would be nice for the older people who don't want to dance. They can sit down but still be in the vibe and not distant.

am now thinking would it be better to have the dance floor to the side?

what do you think? OM's- which did you do? Did it work?

Thanks in advance.

We are having our wedding breakfast on the dancefloor and then having the tables moved to the side after but thats mainly due to the fact my venue is an old ballroom and its mainly dancefloor, personally if i had the 2 options you do i would want the dance floor to the side so when eating all of my guests were close enough they could talk / mingle with the other tables without big spaces or having to walk over the other side to say hey to aunty doris but thats just what i would want and you know how your venue is spaced out and what would look nice as well as being practical, i dont like the fact i have to have my tables moved but have to compromise x

You have quite a big room so you could go with either. Maybe have the top table in front of the dancefloor and then the rest of the tables around the edge. Is the dancefloor going to be down during the wedding Breakfast or can it be put out after the meal?

This is what I planned to do. Just wasn't sure if it might not work for the evening guests. I would ask them to lay it before. Don't want them faffing around once we are seated. Need to find out how big their dance floor is actually
