RSVP oddness!!!

My future brother in law sent us back the menu without ticking what he wanted and in 'any other requirements' section he listed a load of illegal drugs - he doesnt take drugs - and prostitutes.

However, recieving a nameless RSVP is certainly a great reply!

How incredibly helpful!! ? Do you even recognise the handwriting?!

Am to mean to also think it's a little rude - maybe they could have put a little more effort in. I duuno - I think i'm just being picky ️?️

I put a number in pencil on the back of our RSVP cards and had a little list of names matched to the numbers in case we got any nameless replies (control freak? moi?!)

I also had this - one of my friends it turned out. She thought the space for her name was for her to write us a nice message?!! Luckily I recognised her handwriting and called to ask if it was her!

Although we didn't have rsvp cards, we did have menu cards for people to return to us, and I did write their names on them before I sent them.

I did this too and one couple reponded with that number in the 'number attending' section - and they were number 56!!

Some of the comments under dietary reqs have been funny too - one said "we are normal" ?

My coeliac and diabetic cousin and his diary-intolerant wife didn't list any special dietary requirement on their RSVP! ?

i suggested to h2b that we needed to put something like (names) under the space we leave for them to write their names - he said we wouldn't need anything like that!

i am going to show him this thread which will vindicate me, and prove to him, yet again, that i am always right. ?

We've had everything from the aforementioned BIL comment, to 'A well stocked bar', 'For the B&G to have a good time' 'Yum yum' (shakes head)

I don't think we can work out who it is until we get a few more RSVPs back (hopefully with names) & try to narrow it down.

No cos that would be far to simples!! ? It's a Norwich postmark so it could be anyone. it's a mystery!!
