RSVP's

For all the clients I've had the RSVP date has never been any less than 4 weeks before the big day to give them time to chase up any late responders. Some brides have asked for responses up to 3 months before the wedding as well, so really go for whatever suits you and your venue! Normally guests are given about 4-6 weeks to respond from receiving their invitation.

Were sending out invitations early March with an RSVP date of May 1st.

Find out when your venue need final numbers and give the guests a date 2-3 weeks before that to give you time to chase anyone who misses the deadline.

We gave people 3 weeks- you need to chase people, and if you are sending out a second round of invitations then you need to do that too. Bear in mind though we sent our invitations for December 13th in on September 20th

Great, thanks for your replies ?! All rooms have to have the deposit paid 3 months before so I will work around that, I'm just concerned that if people can't make it, it doesn't give me much time to invite others but hopefully it won't come to that.
