Running and injuries

Mandie, 3 July, 2008 at 17:46 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 2

Right, I've got the trainers now and I've stretched and warmed up well. But my legs are still killing me. Years ago I had a scan on my legs as my spine is crooked. That showed my knees, ankles and hips are slightly disaligned (sp?) I wondering if the pain is due to that. Would I be best going to the docs? It's my lower calves and ankles mainly, feels like it's burning when I'm running and after it feels like they are seizing up. Anyone have any experience of this? Thanks.

I'd go to a physio specialising in sports stuff. If you've got a misalignment you will suffer a lot more wear and tear.

They might be able to suggest inserts or other stuff, though.

Sorry, didn't see this last night. Thanks. Can I be refered or do I have to find one myself?

You can find one yourself - I pay £30 per session.
