The half marathon kicks off in two hours. I haven't been able to train properly since the start of August, due to a knee/hip/IT band injury. It's getting better, and the other night I managed 7k, today is 21.2k! I'm going to give it a go anyway, but there's a good chance that I won't be able to compete. The depression has been a bit all over the place lately, and that can really affect my motivation, but luckily I have woken up today feeling ready to take on the world, so the only thing stopping me is the pain. I've had a good breakfast, and taken painkillers as a precaution.
