save the date card.

We're getting married in August 2015 as well, our save the dates should arrive next week, so we're sending them out as soon as we have them. We're getting the 'have you set a date yet?' Question a lot, so it seems daft not to! Also, as we're getting married on a Friday and over half the guests will be travelling down to Nottingham from Yorkshire, it's gives people plenty of notice for the arrangements.

Generally they are sent around a year before the wedding but there's no specific time scale. I would maybe think about getting them out May/June time?! Xx
