Save the date cards...

princessbeccy, 8 September, 2008 at 18:04 Posted on Planning 0 16

I have been looking at these this afternoon on Vista print - has anyone got any experience of them? What's the quality like? I was thinking of ordering some and sparkling them up a little when they arrived before I posted them.

Alternatively, as I'm not that creative and a little bit clumsy, I was wondering if Hibs had some examples as this might be a safer option!

Are there any other sites like Vistaprint does anyone know?

TIA ?

I use vistaprint a lot, and have always been really pleased with the results. Only downside is that postage can be a bit steep depending on how quickly you need them, but even taking that into account I think they're good value. Easy tools to use too, and you can see exactly what you're ordering online.

Yeah have only heard good stuff about vistaprint.

Am doing little magnets using one of their pics and it looks fab. Also, a tip from another hitcher, sign up to their newsletter and you get loads of offers - currently if I order my magents this week, I only have to pay postage - for 50 magnets. Bargainarama!!

I've used vista print for my save the date magnets and I was really really happy with them!

I'm going to be getting my RSVP postcards with them too.

If you do want to buy stuff from them, and if you haven't already done so, make sure you sign up to their offers/newsletter first. You'll soon receive emails where you can order stuff for free and only pay for postage! It's definitely worth it.

Yeah, they throw offers at you all the time. I had one last week for loads of free items, and free delivery if you spent over £20. I seriously couldn't spend £20 and had to pay the postage!! Seriously though, if you want to pm me your email address I can forward on the offers I had from them this morning.

Just to second what everyone else has said, we had our save the date magnets from Vistaprint and were really pleased with them. We customised them so they had our own photo on them and people said lots of nice things about them. Plus I love seeing them on everyone's fridges!

And I just ordered my magnets - 50 for £15 (inc postage+ VAT) bargainous or what. And another tip from RW - get your reply postcards from there - such a great idea and so cheap.

Now, anyone know where I can get small square black envelopes cheapo?

We got save the date fridge magnets from there and we're really pleased with them. Ended up paying more as I was impatient so paid for quicker delivery but they came a lot sooner than expected so prob wouldnt bother if I ordered from them again.

Hiya, I had a bit of a different experience with vistaprint. They were really, really cheap, but it showed in the postcards I ordered from them I thought. They were really flimsy, and kind of see-through! I ended up ordering them again from moo, which were much better quality but were also more expensive.

I got mine from Vistaprint through one of the email offers. 100 free postcards plus postage. Came to £4.20. Was really pleased with the quality and have also got my business cards from there too.

    Hello

There are quite a few other online print companies now as well as Vistaprint that you can upload your own designs to. It's worth doing a Google search of online printers to compare prices but Vistaprint are fine though, and they have various offers to take advantage of which they will email to you constantly (lol.) Alternatively there are quite a few stationers on here who I'm sure can help too and design something a little different to suit. Here's a small selection of some of mine . . . https://www.flickr.com/photos/26234890@N07/sets/72157607195539423/
