save the date help

nikki81, 23 October, 2010 at 15:54 Posted on Planning 0 7

Just wanting some opinions on what to do for our save the dates.

Have spent the afternoon trawling through the millions of websites and finding that slowly they are all blurring into the same image. Not only have i seen some really gorgeous ones but have also seen some really cool magnet save the dates, but can't help thinking if maybe its a bit tacky(not sure if thats the right word to use but the first that came to mind)

And now a stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place and can't decide what to do

Help

xx

If by "tacky" you mean "sticky" as in "magnetic" then yes they are!

Depends when your wedding is. If it's 2012 or something then yes, save the dates are hellpful; if it's March 2011 say then save the money and hassle and just send the invites out.

We didn't use them, but lots of people do.

Wedding is in oct 2011,and to be fair will prob just be getting them from ebay as they work out a lot cheaper.

I like the idea of the magnets as opposed to the cards which will prob just get thrown in the recycling and forgotten about

I got both card and magnet STD's. Magnets are for day guests, I liked them cos they couldn't exactly be thrown away by accident when they're stuck on the fridge.. And I like seeing them when I go round to people's houses lol Smiley laugh

I do both magnets and standard ones. The magnets are REALLY popular.

I do them in all shapes and colours!

I also have a 2 for 1 offer on at the moment on them all (including bespoke designed ones).

If your interested then please do get in touch *******@****************.**.**
