Save the Date / Invitations / Favours - Costs :)

MissPod, 15 September, 2014 at 22:06 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi everyone,

Just wondering what sort of budget is realistic for these items ? I really don't have a clue, and know it will be varied depending on the quality, but any suggestions for a middle of the road budget for around 80 guests ?

Thanks guys

xx

Postcard style invites (vistaprint) about £40 delivered for 60 (remember you don't need one each - one per couple/family)

    Favours 73p each

I got my invitations off vistaprint for around £40 then spent another £10 jazzing them up a big with ribbon and diamontes they looked really good and pretty cheap. The favours we're doing hot chocolates for people to take home which will cost around £40 xx

Save the date - we used a free download online and printed them on card, two per page cost us around £5 for the pack of card and we still have half the card left!

favour- we bought favour boxes in the sale as they were gorgeous butterfly laser cut boxes. £3 for 20 and we bought 5 packs. We then bought 200 personalised love hearts off eBay which isn't a necessary expense but a treat Smiley smile

Invites- again we are making our own, I've budgeted about £90 as we have gone elaborate and gone for pocketfold invites with lace, flowers, and ribbon on the outside. Three sheets of info inside the pocket and the main page stuck in. We need about 50 (90 guests) in total but the same had we not DIY and paid for them came in at over £4 per invite.

its worth DIYIng if you can Smiley smile

For all three I think we are about £200-£250.

£80 for save the dates (including stamps)

    £60 for invitations

£80 for favours - etched wine glasses.

We have 120-130 guests with 80 invitations and 100 save the dates (we over ordered as weren't sure) both from Vista print, it's worth keeping an eye out on vistaprint they recently had a 50% discount Autumn sale so might have one around christmas?!
