MrsParkytobe, 22 April, 2012 at 23:20 Posted on Planning 0 25

Hello

I have been looking for a few weeks for the perfect save the date cards or magnets but not having much luck. Our theme is music and theatre and my colour scheme is pinks but cant find anything suitable. Has anybody got any good ideas?? Thanks xx

You can get freebies off vistaprint! lots of brides design their own magnets on there, you can just wait to get a freebie email with the magnets or free postcards option and do that.

I like these - as if they are a ticket for a theatre show Smiley smile

You could easily create your own on microsoft word, print onto card and stick to a maget = cheap and lovely!

I did my save the dates this way and cost me £10 in total Smiley smile

These are my save the dates. They are magnets. Maybe you could do something similar with a musical note instead of the butterfly? Smiley smile

    Hi,

What about having a manuscript backgroungd paper? You could have a big cut out treble clef on the front. You could have actual pink base cards and black music background paper mounted onto it, then a black or pink border mount and then the detials in the centre.

I made scrolls for my daughter but you could have rolled manuscripts. We tied them with satin tassels and added a charm. You could add musical themed charms. There is a ot of charm choice on ebay and not too expensive.

    Hope this is helpful

    Lynne
