Well, they have gone. A great friend made them a palatial cat house that fits their basket so they have a bolthole until they get used to their new home. I wasok until i placed their baskets in the car to send them off and then i was snivelling.
I have asked for news in a few weeks as I can't bear to hear that they spend the firast few days hiding - which of course they will.

Mixed feelings this weekend - happy because I have finally found my cats a good home here in Tanzania for when I come home in two weeks, but on Monday I have to say goodbye to them.
They have kept H and I company since August last year, from when they were sick 4 weeks old babies, one abandoned under a fridge, and we've had them through nasty worm cases and now they are both lovely healthy one year old cats. Both are so loving and affectionate. Luckily my best friend will be here too as I will probably bawl like a baby.
So, please indulge me as I present the two most loved cats in Africa: Tangawizi (Ginger) and Pepsi (Tabby). I hope you see this hoobygroovy!
