Scottish OMs help please

I was reading on the GRO website that the marriage schedule has to be signed in black fountain pen. Is this still the case?

I can't find a black fountain pen anywhere!

Yes it is most definately black fountain pen, our minister told us this and also a story of how he once forgot one and spent an hour driving round a small town looking for one before a ceremony.

The registrar had a fountain pen for us to use. I didn't even know it was a fountain pen but found a photograph to prove it.

    Ok, thanks very much ladies!

We have our final meeting with the minister on Thursday so will double check with him that he still has one (he is retired now)!
