What's the last date for posting ?

I don't want to receive mine too soon, I have no self control!

Ermmmmmmmmmmmm last date for posting issssss 10th dcember i believe, opening is 16th!

Flow, I would edit your post to suggest that nobody discusses sending/dates. Anyone who has received theirs will now know that it wasn't Mini!

There have been a couple of times I've had to stop myself with idle chat which may give the game away, but my SS did say they would want to know who they received from. I'm also excited as last year I didn't have a scooby who my SS was (still don't know!) but this year I'm going to have a good guess at it!

Do we *have* to open them on the 16th? I feel super naughty opening Christmas presents before the 25th.

I think it's a good idea, means we get double present opening time, as on Christmas day we'd have our other ones to open! Also means we can post pictures etc. as I know over Christmas holidays I'm off work so won't be on here.

I won't reveal whether I've bought/sent it yet but I did dream about it last night. I was surrounded by boxes with different Hitchers' names on trying to find the right one to send. I got quite panicky about it ?

I think we should, or at least as close to the 16th as possible (after though obvs).

I think it's nice for people to see their gifts have been received and not many people get on here over the xmas period.

this was the general consensus yes as people tend to get busy over christmas and people ike to see what people got!! Also some people want to find out who got them!! So evening of the 16th, a flash of pre wrapped and unwrappped pressies required!!

Ooooh this has given me the kick up the backside I needed. Was totally slacking on the SS. Now have a list and a plan.

Sadly I have a prior arrangement to get married on the 16th, do I have special permission to open mine on the 15th?

WelI we're going away to the Cotswolds for a few days but will be back on the 20th. Unless I take my present with!

Tell you what, open the day before and email me pics, il load them for you if you like on the 16th seeing as you are 'busy' ??

Thanks Flow! Well obviously secret santa comes first in my mind but I don't want to let OH and the family down... I'm selfless like that!

I just had to check my sent email items to check that I gave the right address! ?. Panicked for a second.

I had address troubles! Had to give my folks address as I’m moving right across posting time!

My SS should be honoured that buying their present is the only remotely Christmassy thing I've done yet. ?

Don't even know our plan for Christmas Day yet.

Ooooooh 'citing!! Postman has just delivered my SS!! Going to be so hard not to open it...

Not saying whether I've posted it yet or not but have people indicated on the packaging somehow that it's the SS present and shouldn't be opened yet? I've ordered a couple of things recently and don't want to open the wrong thing.

Mine's wrapped inside the postal package with xmasy paper so was obvious once I opened up the outside packaging.

Not saying if I've posted it or not, but I have wrapped the present(s) so if the person opens the box, they haven't spoilt the SS surprise.

Plus, I thought nicely wrapped gift(s) would look better under the tree than a dirty great packing box.

I would always suggest a tag on the pressie saying 'To so and so love Secret Santa' just to be clear!!!
