Selling bridesmaid dress

Anne2015, 9 May, 2016 at 11:48 Posted on Planning 0 2

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to sell a bridesmaid dress that hasn't been worn. It was bought "off the hook" from a bridal shop. It's magenta pink size 10. I've tried various online places and can't find anywhere local that buys or sells them. It's a gorgeous dress so seems a shame to leave it in my wardrobe. I also have a size 12 that has been worn once which I could sell to make a pair but at the moment I've had no interest anyway.

Any ideas greatly appreciated?

I'd probably stick it on eBay, but mention it as a Prom Dress too.

Prom season is coming up and I'm sure a lucky young girl would love something like that?

I sold a wedding dress which I bought on impulse from a sample sale on Preloved. There's no fees, and you can leave it on until it sells (as long as you remember to renew the advert so that it stays near the top of their search results), so I find it's better than ebay.

I would also suggest eBay and list it for prom too. I sold a bridesmaid dress on there for someone who wanted it for a prom. That was a bright pink dress too x
