sending out wedding invitations

We've got 11 weeks to go and ours went out this week.

I was reading this thinking `13 weeks to go-you need to get a move on!` but didnt want to panic you. Then I realised that I only have 14 weeks to go myself! mine are going out this week/early next week

Our day ones have just gone out with 10ish weeks to go. Need to get on and make the evening ones now!!!

I also panicked when I saw the weeks people had put as I thought wait a minute thought theres was after mine!?

I know what you mean , its scarey how quickly it has come around though I am more or less sorted apart from the invitations lol.

H2b says I am gonna be so bored after the wedding as I wont have anything to do lol, this wedding planning seems to have more or less taken over my life in the last six months.

Best think of another hobby quick lol.

I get married the same day as you, I have been sending mine this month, just a few more to go. I think they generally say 12 weeks before - but h2b was eager and we need to give venue final number 8 weeks before. Hope all your planning is going well.

Yes fine to send now but make sure you put an rsvp date on them 2 weeks before you have to confirm numbers to your venue, leaving you time to chase any stragglers. My sister didn't do this and quite a few people assumed she knew they were coming.

Yes its gone really quick, I thought it would drag because I was so excited but it hasn't at all. Will have been engaged a year next week. We are going on honeymoon to san francisco and Hawaii and I cant wait I am desperate for the holiday as we haven't had one with wedding and that but as h2b keeps reminding me this will be a fab holiday! Are you haveing a honeymoon?

I'm 1st nov too ! doing mine next week to post out and take round to people next few weeks. So be about 12 weeks before. We need to have pretty final numbers by 6 weeks before so gives people 6 weeks to get back and school hol period people are usually busy so I think thats about right timings

I wont be having a holiday either until oct so always in desperate need for one lol, we are off to Cyprus...... and then planning on visiting family in Austrialia that couldnt make the wedding march next yr.

We've started to send our invitations this weekend for a 15 November wedding with an RSVP date of 1 October. A bit early maybe, but if I didn't write them now they'll never get done.
