September 14 brides!

Hi we're 5 September 2014.

So far have booked venues and registrar, given notice and bought some of the favours. Will be making up invites in next couple of weeks. We pretty much have everything planned in out heads just need to get going! I am making my own flowers and my dress is a Handfasting dress coming from eBay!

Ours is the 20th September 2014 and just have a feeling it is going to come around so quick now! So far we have booked the church, reception venue, car, photographer and flowers. I have also chosen and ordered my dress. Planning to get the bridesmaids dresses in the January sale if possible so have all of them coming round at the weekend so we can go shopping

Really need to send out the Save the date cards! and then I think we will need to do a bit more saving before I get the rest of the things we need.

Hi, I'm 6th Sept so loves-young-dream we are no longer date twins lol. I have ordered my dress and it should be in the store in May for my first fitting can't wait!! Am half way through making my invitations...I haven't bothered doing Save the Dates as thought would save money and just send the invites out a bit earlier than the norm, so sending these hopefully February time. We are getting our rings from Alba Rose, have had quotes which have come out very reasonable so going to order in January I think. Know what bm dresses I want, just need to order one in to be tried on before ordering them all. It's going to come round so quick, especially as I have another 2 weddings before my own, both which I am bm at lol, and one being abroad :/ god i really need to get on it lol x

I’m the 13th too We have the church, evening venue, car, photographer, just ordered bubbles (blowing) for the table and written out the STD, still so much to do! I plan on going dress shopping at the end of Jan just need to get rid of some of this Christmas bulge! I kept telling myself I have ages but the hitched count down tells me I have 256days eeeek! xx

I'm September 20th, so far I have booked/bought: church, photographer, reception venue, cars, band, caterers, wedding rings, honeymoon, my dress, chocolate fountain, save the dates, florist, first night hotel and airport hotel. I can't wait to be able to say that the wedding is this year!

I'm Sunday 7th Sept! Getting married in SW France, cannot wait! Going out in April for menu and wine tasting, hair and make up trial and to meet the florist! Brought my dress a few months back from an outlet but need to have the length shortened! Struggling with shoes at the mo!

Reception is in a barn, so have been making bunting like no tomorrow! We still need to give our notice and do the legal bit over here in the UK, and groomsmen suits still to be sorted - going to be tricky as my dad is 30" waist, and OH dad is nearer to a 40" waist!! Picked our wedding rings (alba rose) but need to order them.

So exciting! I'm 6th too! Not really done much yet, venue and registry office are booked, my parents and my oh are giving me some money come January and I'm going to start booking the photographer, giving notice and hopefully book a hair and make up artist. Also will have invites out by the end of January! Found my dress which I'll order closer to the time along with the bridesmaids dresses, rings, accessories etc. I'm int he process of making my bouquet so need to finish that and make my bridesmaids bouquets too and my veil! All exciting stuff but loads of time!!

20th September for the H2B and me. Booked ceremony venue, registrar, reception venue and marquee, sent out STD cards and got me a lovely dress so far!

Looking forward to hearing how everyone is getting on with their plans throughout the year. xxx

22nd september here. I'm pretty organised! Venues both sorted. Dj booked. Cake organised. Dresses all bought, just waiting to get mine altered. Decorations sorted. In the process of finding a photographer, just one more to see. We're giving notice on the 19th of this month. Invitations all made and enveloped, ready to go. Bouquets are organised. Jewellery is being made. Yet to sort out suits for the fellas and the rings. We've been trying to choose our music and readings. I'm sure we've got loads to do really but I feel quite relaxed at the moment!

27th september Sorted most things now apart from Bridesmaids and catering which we cant decide on as we have hired a village hall and can do almost anything we want within budget ...

Nice to see what everyones up to ... Ive just ordered my invitations but still feel its too early to hand them out ?

I know its weird! I feel like I ought to have los of jobs to do but whenever I look at my list, I'm ahead of myself. The invitations won't be sent for a couple more months for instance, but they're ready because I thought I might as well sort them out. At least I know how many stamps I need to buy lol

Feeling super organised for now, got venue booked, ordered dress for myself and bridesmaids, sorted flowers, cake and invites have been sent out.

We're 27 September (whitewine33 we're date twins). We're getting married in New York so we've booked flights and accommodation, got the permit for Central Park, booked our post-ceremony meal. I've got my dress and my OH's and Best Man's suits. I've picked my bridesmaids dresses but not buying them for another couple of months in case my neice has a growth spurt!

I've found a wedding coordinator in New York who is arranging the officiant, a videographer and accoustic musician for us as we can't have amplified sound. I've arranged the photographer.

Invites are out and RSVPs are due back at the end of tghis month. We have 18 acceptancesd to date so 20 with me and OH.

Some days I get mega excited but sometimes I'm sooooo nervous!

Hello date twin!

Planning is going well so far, is tricky as we are essentially booking a holiday for 60+ people with a wedding in the middle!! Has increased the stress levels somewhat! We are heading back to France over Easter weekend to sort out a lot of things, I really cant wait!! We have a menu / wine tasting, meeting the florist and the celebrant and I'm also having a hair trial!

I was supposed to be having a make up trial too but the onsite therapist / make up lady has left and they're not getting a replacement until the summer so not sure what to do there. I can either use her and hope she is ok, try and find another MUA in SW France for a trial in April, or one of my BMs is good at makeup, we could have a session with a MUA in the UK and she could do it on the day. Bonus would be I get to buy lots of nice make up!

Really can't believe it is only 6 months. I need to get my ass down the gym!!! Have given up cheese for lent so that is a step in the right direction at least!
