September 2008 brides

I'm October but OH is on myspace so am bored, hope you don't mind?

We've booked ceremony & hotel, cars, flowers, hair for the day. BM dresses are on order. I have dress fitting in 2 weeks. OH getting measured for suit at some point in Aug. We have collected our rings.

Invites just about to go out... started to buy thank you gifts... that's about it really.

It seems once we booked stuff there wasn't anything "big" left to do, just lots of bits of things.

I'm bound to have forgotten something though- like losing weight!! ?

Course I dont mind! I have booked church, reception, hotel, cars, flowere, hair, makeup etc. Sent out invites. No rings though, thought that would be easy but proving a nightmare because of my engagement ring! Bought ushers gifts but not BM. Am hoping to order veil & tiara on Saturday, not sure if I have left that late. Also on Sat need to get BM shoes and then my underwear and at least I can cross a few bits off. I am stressing though as it seems very close and I dont seem to have done much!!

I only want to lose a little weight but that is proving more difficult than I expected! Always the way! xx

I am getting married 5th sept, and I may freak you out a little but I am all done. There is nothing left to organise to do now.

Have you decided if you are having favors? if so I would maybe start to make them. Umm I would get your rings sorted tho especially as you are having trouble.

I would check with your veil maker as I know some of them can take a while. other than that I would say you seem on track.

When do you plan on doing the rest on your list?

Sept 26th-er here....present, correct and ready for duty!

Have to say, with it being 2 months on Friday to go, I'm now starting to panic! Have got all the major stuff done, just need to sort details out. Got a meeting with our venue next weekend to finalise stuff, will be going to see our photographer in the next week or so too, and got the boys' suits sorted last weekend. Just need to get all the other stuff done now! Silly fiddly things.

And must call dress shop tomorrow to find out where my dress is.....should have been in 6 weeks ago, but not heard anything yet, so starting to panic!

Will all get done though........i hope!

Sept 6th here (6 weeks this Saturday) - I'm just about done.

I've still got a couple of loose ends to tie up but I can't really do them til August.

Apart from that we're all done and set!!

Im getting married on 13th September,invites have all gone out....and we are still waiting for people to reply (have had a bridezilla moment already about this),we have to let the hotel know numbers by next week,dress is going back to the shop on the 4th so i can have it tweaked here and there,hen do and stag do done and sorted,rings bought,bridesmaid dresses bought,everything is booked and arranged,just got a few little fiddly things do to,but i know what you mean still feels like there is loads to do.....sigh!!!!

We're getting married on 20 September.

We have booked; Church, reception venue, cars, florist, photographer, dj, hotel rooms for night before and wedding night, set up gift list, sent invitations, just chasing up the last 10 rsvp's.

My dress is almost finished, just needs the straps adjusting and then cleaning. 1 bridesmaid dress is altered, other 2 will be done in a couple of weeks.

Had my hair and make-up trial

Suit fittings are booked for second weekend in August.

Final details meeting is booked at the hotel on 15th August.

I'm not doing favours or placecards and the venue is going to print up the menu cards and seating plan.

Still need to sort out candles for my centrepieces and glue ribbon onto some vases. Need to buy a couple of bits, shoes for h2b, suit for page boy, but other than that I think we're done ?

OMG many of you are putting me to shame!! I havent even picked my flowers yet!! I went to the florist and chose the vases but now my BM dresses are a different colour to what I thought they would be (bit more purple!!) so I need to choose some new ones! I am useless with flowers.....

Hopefully if I sort the veil, tiara, underwear and BM shoes on Saturday then its only really wedding rings that I have to stress about. Well that and the fact that my BM dress was made wrong and the dressmaker has to make again (you may have seen earlier post!)

I need to book the men in to get measured for their suits.....apart from that favours are lottery tickets so cant really do that until the week before, place cards I am going to order this week! I have 50 things on my to do list......seems a lot!! xx

I was a 15th September 2007 bride, I can't believe how quick it has gone and that our 1st anniversary is just around the corner!

Enjoy these last few months of planning, your big days will be here before you know it!

How do you have fifty things on your list? Feel like I'm missing something now!

And how long before do I need to have hair trials and make up trials? Not sure I'm going to be able to get all my BM in the same place for long enough for hair trials- oops

I had my hair and make-up trial on Saturday (19th) and get married on 20th September. I wanted to do it this far in advance so I had time for a couple more go's if I didn't like it! My bridesmaids are not having a trial. Just having it done on the day.

Not long now girls!!!!! I'm 21st Sept

I've got loads left to do but all the major things are sorted, well except the cake!!!

All the outfits are ordered but no fittings booked (don't know when they are due to arrive yet and haven't sorted underwear so don't want to chase them yet!!)

Flowers sorted (well kind of still waiting for the quote 3 weeks later)

Rings are bought, day invites sent (still making the evening ones)

Main things to sort out are: table embelishments, cake, my accessories, shoes and tiara/hair flower. Plus decide on music, readings etc...

I'm 5th Sept and have everything planned and booked.....

I need to do the favours and order of the day etc and the place cards as our are having more detail that usual, and the dresses come in in the next week....eeek that's exciting!!

I'm scared it is so close but also I've only got the next two weekends free as I'm back in london for all the other weekends - eeeek!!

Sounds like we're all fab to me!Spent the afternoon at my mum's addressing envelopes and shoving the "bits" in with the invites!

Im the 6th and apart for all the usual appointments im pretty much sorted.

although I have the favour boxes to make up and with tissue and ribbon and such like.

I'm 13th September and feel like I've still got loads to do. I still haven't given notice as we've only just got all the paperwork sorted out, still have to finalize flowers, hair, make up and a few other things with the venue as well as get shoes for BMs. Haven't got thank you gifts either or done table plan yet... the list seems to be getting longer the more I think about it [:'(]

I'm the day after you two - I'm 14th! Woo - not long now. I feel like I've still got a lot to do although all of the important bits are done. Eeek!
