September 2012 wedding colours....HELP!

Hi ladies,

I am currently planning my wedding for September 2012 and just wondered if anyone had any ideas of colours for that time of year?

So far I like cadbury purple or garden green & dusky pink. I know these are very 'in' this year, so will they be a bit dated for next year? Also, do these colours suit a September wedding?

I know I am planning way in advance, but any suggestions would be gratefully received!

    Hi and welcome to Hitched? I got married in September and had pastel and deep pinks and generally speaking the Autumnal colours start to become popular around the end of October so anything goes really! Purple and pink as well as sage green and pink are very big for this year and I've got lots of weddings booked for next year using purple as the main colour. There are a few different colour schemes feeding through for next year such as yellows, oranges and peaches (yes, peaches! but it's a country garden looking peach not an 80's looking peach) Lime greens and electric blues too. Hope that helps.

    Hi

    i get married sept 2012, and our colours started out as lilac and silver, now its more a mixture of purple shades, as its hard to match the lilac colours as every shop seems to have a different idea to what is the correct shade.....so its easier to mix the shades, with silver, along with a butterfly theme....

    We're getting married September 1st 2012 and our main colour is turquoise, accented with yellow, orange, navy blue and lime green. (Basically, peacock feather colours.) xx

    I'm getting married next May 2012 and we are having pale peaches and creams and greens in a vintage gardeny theme. xx

    Thank you all for your advice. I have lots of different colours in mind now....just need to pick one!
