Serious Dress wobbles!!!!! *FLASH*

Louby1404, 20 January, 2013 at 14:28 Posted on Planning 0 22

Oh dear...

I'm having real serious dress wobbles girls. I like to be a bit different and my other half likes things a bit funky too. However, I've played it quite safe and gone for classy and elegant.

I do love it, it's a gorgeous dress and I got a great deal. (only paid £260) But i'm worried it's just too plain and well, boring. I don't know what to do. If I sell it I'm not sure I'll get anything for that price again and I don't wan to upset my Dad who paid for it. What do you think? Any ideas for making it more funky with hair, acsesories etc.....

I've made my button bouquet and was hoping this would help with the styling.

Any thoughts?

I agree, it's a beautiful, elegant dress. And with a simple dress like this I think you can really go to town with the accessories. I think it would look great with a statement necklace and cuff-style bangle.

I think a statement headpiece would really funk it up, the dress is lovely and lets you personalise it really well with accessories

    Thanx ladies.

I feel a bit better about it now. I have been looking at blue shoes and I like the ones from shu but I've got really skinny feet and need a strap on shoes to keep them on!!! LOL

I like the idea of a statement head piece. Do you like this?

It's about 10cm so quite big. I could attach it to a base and add some buttons to match the bouquet.

I also had a plain, simple dress. I think it's lovely, and if you want more glam, you can go all out with accessories

Your dress is the blank canvas and you are the one that can be decorated in whatever way you wish. that way the dress doesn't detract from the style/statement that you want to achieve. It's all beautiful, I love the button bouquet but I am biased ?

It's beautiful! You obviously picked it cos you liked it and most of the time your first gut instinct is always right! Its your opinion that matters not others, if you loved it then its right for you!

It looks lovely, and I dont think its really 'safe'. I'd say A-Line is pretty much the safe choice being it flatters anyones height/shape. With your accessories, it certainly goes the funky route too!

Its beautiful, also because it's not fussy, you could always rock some awesome funky shoes/accessories? Don't wobble!

    Hi,

I agree it is elegant and gives you the opportunity to add individual items to personalise it to your taste. The bouquet is pretty too. You could have a hair accessory with a vintage feel and maybe a bit of the blue colour.

    Right girls,

The dress is a keeper. I'm going with a blue head piece and blue shoes to allow the funkyness (not really a word i feel) out. What do you think of these?

I don't know how funky you want to go, these are all Irregular Choice and in the sale. I love the last one but too high for me.

I love those first shoes Alyj!

The dress is lovely Louby, I really like the shape. I'm looking for a dress with straps too, don't fancy spending the whole day conscious of flashing too much!

I like that about it too. It's an Angel & Tradition dress from the Venus collection. They have quite alot with straps and a really reasonable priced.

I think the dress is lovely and I like the idea of blue shoes but personally I'd go for something very strappy/elegant as a think clumpier shoes just wouldn't look right with the dress lines.
