Seriously fed up of life at the moment.

Pompey, 22 May, 2014 at 10:38 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 26

Cant seem to see the good for the bad, and the light at the end of the tunnel seems to have gone out.

Life is pants, work is pants and netball is pants.

I feel pretty much the same, to top it off there's an atmosphere in our house which is making my OH feel uncomfortable and I assume would rather still be living at his parents stress free house!

I love sewing, I make patchwork blankets etc by hand, but I haven't even had the inclination to do that. Something's got to give, surely?

Sorry to hear things are a bit rubbish at the moment. Maybe you could make yourself do your sewing for a bit. Sometimes I don't feel like doing my hobbies but when I do them I feel better because at least I have done something which is for me. Would getting out for a bit and doing something nice that you don't normally do help you feel better?

Some of these are a little patronising (e.g. "it’s totally fine to have a little cry for no reason. It makes you female.") but some are mildly uplifting, or at the very least, a distraction from the drudge of it all Smiley smile

I've feeling a bit rubbish about work, so have resorted to chocolate. It's not THE answer, but it's an answer and it helps in the short term!

But seriously, big hugs ? - I hope you can find one small light to brighten the day.

People not bothering to turn up to training, moaning when they do come to training. Moaning at me when they don't get selected for matches if they havent been to training. Cant seem to win.

My two major issues at the moment are ex and his tw@tty family and money and I know it could be so, so much worse, I just can't seem to get out of this funk.

    Big hugs!!

Sometimes life is just rubbish, but eventually, something good will happen.

Have a rant, see if that helps? We're all here to listen!

That's not so good. Hope people start getting their act together soon.

Speaking of netball I saw this and thought of you (ok it may be basketball technically)

Oh P, you have been through such an ordeal lately and it's only normal to feel this way. Now, with all this nonsense going on with w@nkerchops, and your poor nan being ill, it's amazing that you're still standing tbh. I think that everything is just catching up with you, and it's not a surprise. You're amazingly strong, and you can only take so much.

Do what you feel able to do, and don't put pressure on yourself to feel a different way. Try to remind yourself of all that is good in your life, and take it easy. ?

I didn't want to just read it and not comment even though I have nothing terribly inspiring to say. I hope you start to feel better soon *hugs*.

Things change...just hang on in there....30 years ago I should have died when I fell 200 feet on to rocks and bounced...I was pretty badly injured although I survived and every day I treat as one of lifes bonuses.......things will turn around for you. be positive, negativity drags you down and sucks you dry.

    Trust me, things WILL improve.
