Seychelles 2013

We went a couple of years ago. I would definitely recommend staying on at least 2 or 3 different islands, as they are all very different and have a completely different feel to them. If you stay on just one then you will definitely be missing out.

We stayed on Mahé, Praslin, La Digue and Cerf. Cerf I would give a miss, but I would definitely visit the other 3 again.

Out of these, I loved La Digue the most - it's tiny and has no cars and we loved just cycling round the island from one beach to the next. We stayed at La Domaine de l'Orangerie which was amazing - their villas are by far the most amazing rooms I've ever stayed in.

Praslin was also another highlight. We stayed at La Reserve which I would definitely recommend. They offer lots of free excursions (like snorkelling and sunset boat trips) which are a real plus. You also have to go to Praslin to visit the Vallé de Mai forest, which was another highlight.
