Speaking from experience, you can contact Trading Standards and they can pursue the case on your behalf. This happened to me where another florist (no one on here I hasten to add! We all get on great with each other on this forum!) copied one of my photos and placed it on her website claiming it to be her work, along with a number of other florists' photos too. Trading Standards paid her a visit and it was removed instantly. I did email her a few times and threatened solicitors action but got nowhere so it did the trick for me. I don't know whether you've already done this but if you take a photocopy of your entire website and place it in an envelope and post it to yourself by Recorded Delivery and don't open it, this goes some way to proving your case. Another thing which I was advised to do but already did anyway is to keep albums of the original photographs with the date on the back so you can prove that you actually took the photograph and own the copyright to it. That said, the internet is a very grey area when it comes to copyright but anything you can do yourself to stop this lazy, cheeky practice of people stealing other people's photos is worth the trouble!
