Shoe Help please please please

massuch, 17 March, 2011 at 10:39 Posted on Planning 0 8

Ok, I am totally indecisive about the shoes I want for 2 reasons 1. The price and 2. The detail (is it too much when they won't really be seen)

I've flashed them before but want to flash them with my dress to get some honest opinions. I've been searching and searching for the last 6 months for other options but keep coming back to these. Any time I put a picture of other shoes beside my dress I just can't see anything going with the dress. I've been given the OK from OH to buy them but the thought of spending that much money churns my stomach. I know it's what I want that matters but I do like to here other peoples opinions.

So...........Yay or Nay??

Are they Diane Hassall's? I've got ones from her although a totally different style. My Mum did comment that no-one would see them but I have every intention of showing all our guests at every opportunity! They are the most expensive shoes I've ever had but it is my big day so why not. And they're extremely comfortable too.

They are beautiful! I say if you have the money and OH is ok with it then go for it! After all you are only going to do this once and you will feel a million dollars! They may not be seen but you will know they are there!! Make sure you get your photographer to get a snap of you in them!

    xx

    Pay Day, LOL!

I have my first dress fitting 11th May and they can take 8 weeks as they're hand made so if I'm gonna get them I'd better be quick.

Yes they are kirstycat, I have heard that they're comfy.

Why am I so reluctant though, hopefully some more comments will help me make a final decision. x

Okay, lets look at the pros and cons:-

Pros - they are beautiful, they go with your dress perfectly, they will be comfy, OH has said it's ok, you love them, you haven't seen anything else, they are beautifyl

    Cons - they are expensive

I think it's safe to say the pros far outweigh the cons!

They are lovely, but I do understand what you mean about the price! I spotted these ones, then saw the price and gulped. I had issues convinving myself to go for the much cheaper Benajamin Adams ones but they were still £100 - but then

I have to say, these are not my cup of tea at all HOWEVER in terms of whether or not you should splash out on shoes, I don't see why not. I am planning on ordering Jimmy Choos for my wedding (although they are much simpler than these, and I suppose I could wear them again afterwards). If it's not a real budget issue and you want them, then treat yourself! (If you are really worried, I guess you could ebay them afterwards maybe?)
