Shoe nightmare- I really have no idea!

Sums2b, 15 December, 2014 at 18:55 Posted on Planning 0 7

I am so stuck over what shoes to get!

My criteria is quite strict because they have to be flat (I am tall and have never worn heels) and I need a size 8 or 9 but have very narrow feet... And my dress is kind of silver with a pinky under skirt (you can't see that in the pic though) and not full length so my shoes really matter. It will be March so I think sandals are probably out.

I hate shoe shopping and am terrible at it. I like the Halle shoe by Benjamin Adams but is it good enough for the money? I also quite like Charlotte Mills Anabel with the silver heart. But do these go with my dress??

i know loads of you are awesome with shoes- please help! I just don't want horrible ones, I have never ever had a pair of shoes that I actually love. I no longer care if I have to spend a couple of hundred! And this coming from the woman who usually goes to Shoe Fayre Smiley winking

Here are the shoes I mentioned!

First the Anabel and the Halle.

Personally I'd go with the anabel, I think they are lovely. Your dress is gorgeous. Silver or ivory shoes would go, r you could make a real statement and go for the colour of your bridesmaid dresses?

I can't help specifically as I have completely the opposite feet to you, short and wide! But give Debenhams a go, they have a wide choice. For example:

ooh and these glittery ones have been on my pinterest board forever - love them but couldn't find a link for the designer Smiley sad

Or if you fancied a bit of colour you could use the pinky blush colour from your underskirt.. Something like these?

I think a statement pair would be fab as your shoes are on full show. I love the third pair above - the almond toes with the blingy bow. They would look fab with your dress. I guess for you the shoes need to cost what they cost as they are a large part of your outfit not being hidden by dress. Have you tried Long Tall Sally? I couldn't see anything on their websote, all sale stuff - but they might have something in-store.

From the two you have shown, I like the first pair. I think the something on the front really lifts them, so you could look at shoe clips too. You can get satin bows off ebay in a miriad of colours. for just a few pounds, or if you like the bling, you can get some lovely shoe brooches. This route would let you have a more plain pair of shoes that you could use after too. Just a thought.

    Found these on Dotty P's
