Shoes - am I a bit mad (with pics)

I've found some shoes for my bridesmaids and as long as they agree, this is what they will be wearing


I know they are not traditional wedding shoes but I totally love them and think they look good with these bridesmaid dresses


Do you think these would look ok together? (the shoes are darker than in the pic but the flash turned them ultra bright)

And now for the mad part - I also want to wear these shoes! Do you think it will look strange if I wear the same shoes as my bridesmaids? You wouldn't really see them as they would be covered by my dress but people would get the occasional glimpse. I think it would link us all together nicely while also being a bit quirky.

Any opinions please?

    You will look fab....

    I am thinking of having shoes for me in the colour of the bridesmaid dresses (red wine/burgundy), and I will be in an ivory wedding dress!!

    They're gorgroes and personally, I think 'different' shoes look great under the dress. It's highly unlikely people will see them anyway but, I still think they'll look good!

    I think they will go well with the BM dresses and look "different" in a good way! Go for it if thats what you want.

    Thanks everyone for putting my mind at rest. Im just waiting for one of my bridesmaids to get back to me with her shoe size as she has quite big feet so will need to make sure they fit her.

    They are from a shop called Lemon which i had never heard of until this week and were only £20 so I'm even more pleased?

    They'll look lovely and your BM's will definitely wear them again.

    Mrs Tonner are the pink ones Vivienne Westwood? They were selling something similar in Urban outfitters

    Borokate i think they're lovely and your bridesmaids should be happy to wear something like that and not the normal boring wedding type shoes!! my bridesmaids are definitely having "different" shoes to go along with my gina sparklies!!!

    I love those shoes!! Go for it!

    I got married wearing metallic purple Dr Marten boots and everyone commented how much they liked my 'non convention'

    I love Leopard print in any way shape or form (without sounding Bette Lynche tacky, lol)

    I'd love to have my BM's and even myself in something like that but they wouldn't go with my colour scheme. ☹️

    Go with what ever you want and your BM's would be mad not to like them. xx

    Well my bridesmaids love them but my mother was horrified which I found hilarious?

    I need to ring the shop tomorrow to make sure they do them in a size 8 for one of the bridesmaids and then we're definately getting them - me included!
