So I'm not a girly girl. Not in the slightest...but I've decided I want some quite funky shoes for my wedding...but thought I'd get fed up on heels by the time we sit down for the meal so was going to get a pair of cheapish heels for the ceremony and photos etc...and then a lovely pair of flats or...

So I'm not a girly girl. Not in the slightest...but I've decided I want some quite funky shoes for my wedding...but thought I'd get fed up on heels by the time we sit down for the meal so was going to get a pair of cheapish heels for the ceremony and photos etc...and then a lovely pair of flats or low heels for the rest of the day which would be fairly expensive and funky looking.

So my task now is to negotiate with my OH how much I'm allowed to spend on shoes for our wedding! This could be intersting!

How much are you guys all spending??

They are amazing! Ill try and get a picture when I go to my Mum's as they are hiding there! Keep checking ebay because I have seen a few pairs on there for less (this was annoying!)

I had my heart set on them but OH doesn't know how much they were! Eek!

I didn't intend on spending much at all. I never wear heels - just can't walk properly in them! I decided I wanted vintage shoes & ended up with four pairs (three off ebay & one pair given to me) so spent about £60 (which for me is extravagant for shoes) & none of them are right!!!!!!

Think I'll end up wearing my red patent kitten heels purchased from M&S many years ago..

I wanted a pair I'd seen in Wedding Ideas Mag which were £140. Fell in love with them back in July when first got engaged, and was dead set on having them. However a couple of weeks ago I walked into Next and found a beautiful lace pair. I tried them on and that was it, I HAD to have them. They were a complete bargain at £30.

And I plan to dye them after the wedding so that I can wear them again and again Smiley laugh

OH will have a fright as most of my shoes are flat ot 2" feel, these 4" are lovely and look great with my dress cost me £36.

I've been promised a pair of these Louboutins as my wedding present from my other half, which will also be my wedding shoes. Unless I fall in love with something else, at which he will be relieved of buying shoes that will cost almost as much as our venue.

Be so careful in these, my bestie has them in nude and she ended up spiking her other foot quite badly in them when someone knocked her and it has left her with louby scarring oops!!

I wore these. I wanted something simple and elegant. I think they cost me £300 but it was a while ago so I can't remember!

How did yours fair Cricks? I underestimated the amount of gravel at my venue - my heels are a little worse for wear!

There were mine - also about £300.

That's good! Mine are still completely fine to wear but up close the glitter has come off the heels.

I do belive those are the most beautiful shoes I have ever seen!!! I have completely fallen in love with figgie shoes, but I'm not entirely sure my OH will agree to me spending that much money.... I'll have to work on him!!!

I have bought a lovely pair of rainbow club shoes (style ella) which were £80 (but dyable so i can wear them again)

they are very high heeled so i was worried my feet might hurt come the evening so i decided to buy a second cheap pair with a lower heel to be on the safe side. try looking at places with sales on. i tried girls of elegance and i got a gorgeous pair of benjamin adams shoes which were originally £160, but had been reduced to £30!!! Bargin!!
