Shopping for dress in Chester

Mrs2013, 30 January, 2012 at 14:00 Posted on Planning 0 10

Anyone have any good reccomendations?

I am going to Chester for 2 nights with my mum and wondered if anyone had any ideas of decent dress shops?

Thanks

There is Pronuptia and Boda Bridal in Chester - ive not been to those but my friend has.

There is also Cheshire Brides it's in a place called Frodsham - but its probably advisable to book an appointment as she gets really busy at a weekend, ive been there and some of her dresses are amazing.

Are they? Is there any that are reasonable priced then maybe?

I can always try the dresses on and source locally

The ivory lounge are from 1500 upwards and only stock 2 deisgners

The pronuptia is fab - loads of range. Was really impressed as i had heard mixed responses about the chain previously

There's a berketex, Aristocrats, and Diana Gray (I think, it on Lower Bridge Street) all in the town centre, as well as the others mentioned. There is also Browns of Chester (Debenhams) which has a bridal dept.

Aristocrats of Chester are the supplier of Maggie Sotterro for the area too so this may help if you have seen any on the website you like but want to buy from closer to home later

I would recommend the Bridal Gallery on Northgate Street. Family run business and lovely staff Smiley smile Very good selection of dresses across a wide price range.
